Ford has all kinds of choices for its automobiles’ stereos. From DVD navigation to satellite radio, you can outfit your automotive or truck with a system suited to your personal needs and tastes. Save your self the cost of labor by installing a CD Player yourself.
Ford CD Player Installation Instructions
1. Using a ten mm socket and ratchet, or a ten mm wrench, take away the bolt connecting the black adverse cable clamp on your Ford’s battery to the lead. It is a security should when doing something involved with a car’s electrical system.
2. Discover the two holes aligned vertically on both sides of the radio unit. Insert the Ford DIN removal instruments into both of those holes till they lock into place.
3. Pull the Ford DIN elimination tools outward (to release the spring-loaded latches) and then toward you. The old stereo will slide forward. Pull the stereo out until you can access the connecting wire groups behind the stereo.
4. Use your hand to tug out the connecting wire teams on the rear of the stereo unit. The teams connect the stereo to the battery, amplifier, speakers and antenna.
5. Insert and slide the faceplate installation equipment into place, ensuring to feed the wire groups via the back. It can click on into place when totally seated. This may allow the brand new CD Player to be seated within the stereo dock, as your new unit is not going to have the Ford DIN tool bracket.
6. Join the wire groups to the brand new CD participant (order of connection does not matter).
7. Slide the brand new CD participant into the faceplate installation equipment body until absolutely seated.
8. Reconnect the damaging battery cable to the battery, closing the clamp to a comfortable match across the lead.
